Hi everyone. How are you doing? I am already in Miami next to Nico Almagro as we are taking part in a tennis exhibition in this city in some days. what a temperature! Hope you are not feeling jealous because of it. Right now we are in the hotel, working with a magnetotherapy machine on Nico's shoulder trying to make him feel better for his next season. I'll keep you updated during the week!! Big hugs for all!!

Juan Carlos at the Miami tennis cup exhibition !

from Friday November 30th , Juan Carlos will take part to a tennis exhibition in Miami called "Miami tennis cup" alongside 5 other players as Nicolás Almagro (ESP), Alejandro Falla (COL) , John Isner(USA) , Andy Murray(UK) and Andy Roddick(USA) .

The tournament will see all six players competing in a double-elimination tournament format within two round robin groups. Each match will be the best of three sets. The number one seed (Andy Murray) and number two seed (Andy Roddick) will receive an automatic bye in to the semi-final. The remaining four players will be drawn against each other for a place in the semi-final, with the initial matches starting on stadium court at 7:00pm on Friday, November 30th. The first semi-final match will commence on stadium court at 5:00pm on Saturday, December 1st. The emerging winner from Sunday's final will take the coveted title as the first ever champion of the Miami Tennis Cup, for which a cash prize and trophy will be presented on stadium court by a surprise celebrity legend from the tennis world.

the ATP paid tribute to Juan Carlos

Today the 2012 London masters paid tribute to Juan Carlos Ferrero (who took his retirement immediately after the open of Valencia two weeks ago) through a ceremony during which took part a few top ten players such as Novak Djokovic, Tomas Berdych, David Ferrer, Nicolas Almagro alongside Alex Corretja . Other players such as Roger Federer and Andy Murray have recorded a small message that aired on the big screen.  
To close the ceremony, Juan Carlos was awarded a trophy for all of his career.

Juan Carlos Ferrero blog : "a new life starts !"

Hi everyone. Hope you are well. This is the first time I write on my blog since my goodbye to tennis and, one more time I would like to say thank you to all my family, Toni, all my friends at the Academy, all the players who were with me in the ceremony during the Valencia Open and, with no doubt, to all of you who have been supporting me during my whole career. Moreover, I don't want to forget one special gift I received. David Ferrer went running to me after winning the tournament in Valencia. That was completely AMAZING!! I won't forget it ever! Now I am packaging to go to London where a new ceremony will take place... OH NO!! Crying again... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR DAILY SUPPORT BOTH IN THE GOOD AND BAD MOMENTS! A new story is starting. See you soon...
